This was a fantastic vacation
This was our second trip to the beautiful Sunscape Punta Cana Grand. There has been a lot of improvements since our last visit in 2002
Our trip started on Monday March 31 2003. We were picked up at the door and headed for Toronto to catch our plane. The weather that day was overcast and snowy, temperature was -5 celcius. Our flight time was supposed to be 3:50pm but we were bumped up and left at 1:20pm and arrived in Punta Cana at 6:20pm ast. It was nice to actually get to see some of the scenery from the air as our other flights we have arrived in the dark. I have added some pics on the destination page of the view from the plane and also some pics of the beautiful Punta Cana airport. We had great weather for the most part. Wednesday was terrible with a tropical storm, and Thursday and Saturday were partly cloudy days. The other days were hot and sunny. This trip was mainly for rest and relaxation so we didn't do any day trips. I did get to go parasailing. Now that was fun. On Sunday we got to meet Perry and Heather from Waterloo. I had only chatted with Perry on The Computer Mechanics website (www.thecomputermechanics.com) so it was real nice to actually meet him. It was with great sadness that we had to leave on Monday April 7, but all good things must come to an end. We arrived in Toronto just after midnight and got back home to London around 3:00 am.
